Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 5, 2026
The Approval Path LLC ("we", "us") takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we don't.
What we collect
We collect information you give us directly when you book a consultation, complete intake, or pay for a plan. This includes: full name, date of birth, email, phone, mailing address, government-issued photo ID (front and back), and proof of address. Sensitive identifiers (Social Security Number, full account numbers) are collected through a separate secure intake channel and never stored on our website.
We do not collect or store credit card numbers. Payment information is handled exclusively by our payment processor and never touches our servers.
Where your information lives
Basic contact information (name, email, phone, address) and case-status data are stored in our application database (Supabase, US-based). Document uploads (ID images, proof of address) and signatures are stored in our intake provider's secure document store. Sensitive identifiers used for credit dispute work are stored in encrypted, access-controlled storage with audit logging.
How we use it
We use your information solely to perform the consultation and credit-related services you've engaged us for, to communicate with you about your case, and to comply with applicable laws. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Who we share it with
Limited to: the three credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion) and original creditors when we file disputes on your behalf with your written authorization; our payment processor for billing; our email service for transactional notifications; and government agencies when required by law.
Your rights
You may request a copy of the information we have on you, correct inaccuracies, or request deletion subject to our record-keeping obligations. Email admin@theapprovalpath.com. If you reside in California, Colorado, or another state with consumer privacy laws, you have additional rights under those laws which we will honor.
Security
We use TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest where available, role-based access control for any internal staff, and audit logging on every administrative action involving your data.
